This
is my baby Eeyore. I got Eeyore form a no kill shelter in my
area. I suspect no one wanted him because he barked when people came
is the door. I work at the shelter so when I noticed that he had
become very depressed around Christmas, I decided to take him home
for the weekend but before the weekend even came, I changed my mind
and decided I was going to keep him. I took him home New Years Eve
and took him for a long walk with my other dog. That day I realized
he had hip dysplasia (which is why he's lying down in the picture).
Unfortunately I had walked him too far so that that evening he was so
sore he could barely get off the couch. He sure didn't act like a
six-month-old puppy! Since then he's been to the vet and is now on
pain killers and waiting for surgery. Eeyore is so wonderful I can't
believe I could have two dogs that are so wonderful in one lifetime!
He loves my other dog who is a one-year-old labrador named Mr. Piggy
and they are the best of friends. Eeyore keeps Mr. Piggy in shape for
me! Now Eeyore sleeps in a king size bed instead of a box. I hope
he's as happy with me as I am with him!
