Charlie
is my name and I love to greet everyone who might walk past or
visit my house in the Barossa Valley in South Australia. People stop for
a chat every day and some even know me by name. I love to play in the
water and mud when it rains and spend lots of time digging holes for Dad
to fill in, in his spare time. Dad leaves things out for me to chew to
pieces but he seems to always be looking for them afterwards. Sometimes
I take Dad for a walk but he seems exhausted when we get home! Mum and
Dad buy big bones for me when they go shopping and I love to bury them
deep in Mum's garden. I love my Mum, Dad and my brothers
Marmaduke
(the Ginger Tabby) and
Oscar
(the Chihuahua) very
much. My brothers are Previous Pet Honorees. How could I forget! They
remind me every day! My favorite toys are a rubber steering wheel cover,
for tug-o-war with Dad and a squeaky plastic hamburger that I fetch for
Mum when she throws it to me. I love big cuddles, if you have some to
spare, just yell for "Charlie" and I'll always be there!
