This
is Chena, a three and a half years old female yellow Labrador
Retriever who lives in Maine. Chena lives for her tennis ball. It is the
first thing she wants in the morning and to get her to go to sleep at
night we have to put the ball in a basket out of reach. She allows us
amuse her with other activities, such as walking, swimming or agility
training but it is really her ball that makes her happy. She has an
older brother Spenser, a four-year-old black Lab, that she loves to
tease. When there is no more room on the couch for her to fit, her
favorite trick is to bark as if there is someone at the door. Spenser,
being a protective male, will always go to check and then Chena will get
the spot on Mary P.
