Buddy
is my two year old Cavalier KING Charles Spaniel who, as you can see,
has delusions of grandeur. He is by far the brainiest of all the
Cavaliers I have ever owned and his main aim in life is to love and be
loved. I am a Scottish veterinarian and have owned assorted Cavliers
since 1963. In good weather he loves to slide down my Grandson's chute -
front legs spread out and a look of bliss on his face.
He isn't a barker - although he always barks
and lets me know if he hears the doorbell and I don't respond to it. He
does lots of tricks - most of which he has taught himself - but I also
tried the new training with a 'clicker' - and he cottoned onto that in
about ten minutes. He begs, sits, stays, comes and catches titbits in his
mouth - but more important he is a kind little chap and very
affectionate.
