What's
not to love? Wheeler was kind enough to allow himself to be adopted
into the family in order that Chelsea (also a yellow lab) would have a
little brother to pal around with. Since his arrival, the two of them have
had a great time getting to know each other. The first couple of days were
a little rough, but all became very playful and fun once everyone figured
out who the alpha dog was (Chelsea, his big sister, of course).
Chelsea has a great time showing her little brother the local hiking trails
and the two of them can't wait for the winter months in Taos to play in the
snow. Everyone is hoping Wheeler will soon be big and strong enough to make
the trek up Wheeler Mountain to see the view from the peak for which he is
named.
