Poncho
is Mr. Personality! But he is very protective of his family and not
very friendly to strangers. We got him at a flea market in Ohio. We went
back four times and looked at him before we talked ourselves into buying
him. (We already have four outside dogs.) It was the best decision that we
have ever made.
He likes to look at everyone but do not try to touch! He sleeps with us
whenever we go to bed. (We work rotating shifts and sleep days sometimes -
he's always there) He is forever happy and glad to see us. His best friend
is Sam our 85 pound boxer. Poncho is clearly the Alpha dog in our group of
five dogs. He likes to boss everyone else around. He sits in our bay window
when we are not at home and surveys his domain! He's MY best friend.
Poncho is our little lover dog. He is a great guard dog and does bark a lot
but we expected that with a chihuahua. He is extremely protective of my
husband and I. Poncho is two years old and a full-blooded Chihuahua but not
registered. He is friends with one of our cats and avoids the other one.
His fur is slick as a mole because of all of the petting and rubbing he
gets all of the time. What a lucky dog!!
