Surprise!
Jewel and her three little Jewels are German Pinchers. What? You
thought they were Dobermans? A common mistake made my many. These puppies
are of a rare breed making a comeback. German Pinchers almost became
extinct in Germany during World War II. This is an older breed than the
Dobermans, they were originaly bred to hunt vermin. Recently imported to
the States they are now a popular 25 to 35 pound friendly, family pet. Her
full name is Champion Bearskin Black Jewel, and she is special because she
is a good mother.
