This
is Tazia (pronounced Tay-sha). "Tazia-Dog" as I call her,
is a very special part of our family. Tazia was given to us as a eight
week old puppy and with patience, love and understanding, she has grown
up to be one of the best companions for my husband and I. She loves to
"go for coffee" every Saturday morning with her
"Dad" at the coffee shop and riding is his truck is just one
of her favorite things. She has a tail that never stops- but she's an
intimidating watch dog. We have learned a lot over the years from the
pets we've owned, and last July we realized how truly committed pets can
be. Last summer we lost one of our "dear friends" Niki-when
she was hit by a car. We later found evidence that Tazia went to the
side of the road where her "sister" Niki was, and sat by her
until Niki gathered the strength to stagger home, where, unfortunately,
she died the next day. Pets are a great source of comfort and
companionship for us and apparently, each other, too!
