We
got Sunny after one of our dogs got run over. Our other dog Pepper
was so sad, as we were, so we decided to get another dog. We got Sunny
from a woman who was running a puppy mill. We just could not bear to
leave her there in those horrible conditions because she was so fragile
and had the sweetest little face. Sunny had a lot of problems when we
first got her-she had a heart murmur and only weighed four pounds. Also-she
would not eat or drink and had to be fed babyfood through a syringe. We
feared that she would not make it but she did!!! Now Sunny is totally
healthy and full of energy. She is so protective of her mommy and barks
at big, bad things like plastic grocery bags!! She is one of the most
energetic, playful and sweetest dogs in the world. She still takes time
out of her busy schedule to stop and smell the flowers-or chew them up!
Her favorite thing to do is greet guests with a big kiss right on the
face. I really feel that her name is perfect - she has brought so much
sunshine into our lives!
