A
great "Golden" "Topaz" is a Golden Retriever. Her
birthday is July 4, 1997. We live in Baden, Pennsylvania, north of
Pittsburgh. We moved to a new home with 44 acres of property right after
Thanksgiving. I think Topaz still believes she is just on a
"vacation". We recently put in a swimming pool, and she
already took a "dip" and climbed out the ladder! She enjoys
riding both in our motor boat, and on the wave runners! She will sit in
front of me while riding the wave runner, and people stop and stare
because it actually looks like she is driving!! She also loves to swim,
and hunt for golf balls in the lake. On our property, she will roam
around searching for just about anything that moves....chipmunks,
squirrel, deer, turkey, and fox. She loves to both lead and chase her
two "kids", Chas and Kimee, when they are driving their quads
through the many paths they have made through the woods. Chas loves to
play hockey, and Topaz is his "goalie". When he tells her to
play, she gets ready in her goalie stance position. She is a very good
hockey player! Maybe one day she could try out for the Pittsburgh
Penguins!!! Topaz is a very good and intelligent Golden Retriever, and
we wouldn't give her up for all the "gold" in the world!
