This
picture was taken when Missy (Black Diamond Lil Miss Spark) was
about five months old. I had wanted a Newf from the time I was about
fifteen and it only took me 35 years to finally live out that dream.
Many things make her special, including the fact that she was the last
gift my Mom was able to give me before she died. Missy willingly shares
her home with three other dogs (rescues) and five cats, and has become
surrogate Mom to all. She follows me everywhere, is the epitome of a
true "Velcro Newf", and does her breed proud in disposition and
demeanor. She's stolen our sofa, bed, best shoes, food, the TV remote
... but most of all, she's stolen our hearts.
