Mr.
Max is our pound puppy. In January of 1997, we rescued our friend
from the pound. Ever since, he has been a big part of our family. His
favorite thing to do is play football and score touchdowns. Whenever he
comes in from outside or goes out, he must have his football with him.
He even barks with his football in his mouth. He has two footballs,
however, will only play with the one that squeaks. He likes to hear the
sound of the ball. He is also a very unique dog. When we come home from
work, he is at the back door jumping straight up, as if he had springs
in his four paws. Mr. Max is always very glad to see us and sighs a
welcome relief that we came back. Although we know that he is a dog, Mr.
Max thinks otherwise. He feels he is also a person. If he sees us eat
something, he too should have whatever we are eating. He has got his
owners wrapped around his paw. He knows if he finishes his dinner, he
will get dessert. And every night at around 10pm, he knows if he goes
out to go to the bathroom, he will also get another treat. Now, he has
taken it to the next level, in that, every time he goes to the bathroom,
he should get a treat. Most of the time he can sucker one out of us. Mr.
Max has been a great companion to everyone in the family. And in our
house, he is the "Dog of the Day, every day".
