I
adopted Dexter from the local animal shelter. It is a kill shelter and
I adopted him the day before he was supposed to be euthanized. He was
five months old when he came to live with me. He was dumped by a man who
was abusing him and left Dexter to live on the streets as a stray. He is
the best dog I have ever had. Contrary to myth about Pit Bulls. Dexter
is sweet, loving, compassionate, and a clown. He loves people, children
and other dogs. What one man considered trash has truly become my
treasure. "Whoever said you can't buy happiness forgot about Pit
Bulls."
