Tinker
is special because he loves people - he will watch them park
their car and wait to greet them. He recognizes his buddies (people)
and runs to them as though they are his owner. He loves to go to pet
stores where he can enter and shop. He invites himself behind the
counter to get a treat. He is incredibly intelligent, has a great
memory, is spoken to always so he has a great vocabulary. Although he
was named after an all-time great Chicago Cub baseball player Joe
Tinker, shortstop, he cannot catch a ball for anything - however, his
sport is challenging big dogs (he is totally unsuccessful in his
endeavors but he tries - it makes me crazy). He struts after being
groomed, he is proud and self sure and he has the face and looks of a
muppet but the heart and mind set of a lion. Most importantly, he
keeps me company, he makes me laugh and he loves me.
