Hi!
My name is Benjamin Rambi Radar Goodier, but everyone calls me
Benji. Yeah, my full name's kind of weird, but it's a long story! On
April 15 I turned two years old and am growing into a lovable adult. My
days are also filled with adventures. In the morning (on weekdays) I
wake up my 12 year old owner at 7:00 because she just turns her alarm
clock off and goes back to sleep, but my licking in the ear gets her up
every time! Well, if I didn't wake her up she'd be late for school. Now,
on weekends I just sleep in and get my beauty rest. But when there's
snow outside I wake up and drag my owner outside so I can play in it.
Usually, when I get up I hide my 12-year-old owner's (Carmen) slipper.
Then when we go downstairs for cereal, I always beg for a few pieces --
Cinnamon Toast Crunch is my favorite! Another one of my favorite foods
is cheese and my other owner always leaves me a piece. Now sometimes,
when my owner cooks something really good, I sneak onto the table (when
they've left) and get some, but then I jump down and try to act innocent
(even though my mouth's full!).
Later in the day, I play with my ball. I like to get it stuck under the
couch and let Carmen get it. When she gets it and throws it, I prance
(not run) like a deer to retrieve it. I also like to play tag and
hide-and-go-seek with Carmen. Sometimes I even go under the bed! Another
fun game is playing with ice and shooting it across the floor like a
hockey puck or playing a one-player game of volleyball with my big, red
balloon. Now I'm not always this energetic. At night I calm down and get
ready for bed. If Carmen comes in crying for any reason, I go over to
her, lick her and lay next to her. I also think it's comfortable to lay
in Carmen's lap and go to sleep while she reads. Finally, at night when
the lights are all off, I either cuddle up with Carmen or get into my
bed and sleep with my favorite stuffed animal. Carmen and her family
love me so much not only for my fun times, but for the adventures that
keep them going!
