I
got Speckles as a puppy. I got to go over to my mom's friend's house
and I saw the puppies. I had to convince my dad to let me get a puppy.
This took a lot of begging. I wanted a puppy so bad. My dad finally gave
in. Then I had to pick a puppy. All the puppies were beautiful. Then I
saw Speckles. I could tell she was the puppy I wanted because she had
three dots that formed a little triangle on her head. I thought that was
unique and I just had to have her. Then I had to pick a name for her. I
didn't know what to name her. Everyone told me Spot. I thought, no, she
needs a girl's name. So I named her Speckles.
Speckles is my first puppy. My parents had a dog but I wanted my own
dog. Speckles is special because she is the most loveable dog. She knows
when your having a bad day or when you feel like crying. She always
snuggles up to you when you're upset. It's like she is there to comfort
you. She always wants attention too. If you ignore her, she'll walk up to
your arm and stick her head under your arm and move your arm
until you pet her. Everything about Speckles is special to me so it's
really hard to say what makes her special. She is a beautiful dog and
I'm glad that I picked her out.
