My
dog's name is Rumi. She's six years old and was born on Valentine's
Day. She is a Shepherd/Lab mix. Rumi is a very special girl. I named her
after my favorite poet. Rumi was a Sufi mystic that was divinely
inspired. I believe that my dog is also divinely inspired because she is
so incredibly sweet and gentle. She has a heart of gold and really loves
people and other animals. Rumi also enjoys the water. She has gone
kayaking with me many times. She actually sits in my boat with me!! She
also loves to go for rides in the car!! In fact, I bought my current
car, a Honda CRV, especially for her!! I guess you could say that Rumi
is an integral part of my life!!
