This
is Zeus, my year and a half year old Siberian Husky. My husband got
him for me for a birthday present last year. We had been to see the
litter when they were about four weeks old, but I had no idea one of
them would be mine. He has been a delight and a challenge! He will howl
if I try to sleep late on Saturday mornings. He has escaped several
times to visit my neighbors farm and also the high school a few miles
down the road. He loves to play with his "sisters" Dixie (a German
shepherd) and Foxy (a 14 year old shepherd mix), and our four cats. He
also went for a trail ride when my neighbor took her horse for a ride!
He is the biggest mooch I know, but that's ok because I like to share.
My husband was worried that three dogs would have been too much too
handle, but he is such a wonderful companion, I don't know what I'd do
without him!!!
We decided to go out for ice cream one night and had to take Zeus with
us. This one ice cream place has what they call a "man's best friend".
It's a dish of soft serve vanilla ice cream with three milk bones on
top. As you can see, Zeus liked it very much! I try to take him with me
where ever I can; all I have to do is jingle my keys and he thinks he's
going for a ride. This was the first time we took him for ice cream, and
when he got out of the truck he ran right over to the window like he
knew what he was doing! I was glad I had my camera with me. He is such a
special dog and is so much fun. He plays hide and seek (my husband or I
will hide and Zeus will find us!), and he also loves to go for bike
rides.
