We
found Faith six months ago (actually she found us!) when she ran out
in front of our car. When I tried to check her collar for tags, she
jumped into the van and claimed our thirteen-year-old daughter as
"hers"! So home we went. After a forty minute bath that first
night, we realized she wasn't brown, but a pale yellow. And I spent more
than a few minutes trying to scrub off spots that are permanent. She's
such a sweet thing and I was sure that we'd have her back to her
"people" in no time... only her "people" apparently
weren't looking for her since there were no answers to any of the
notices I left around town. After some consideration, we decided to
become her new pack! She's still a little under-weight but is happy and
healthy. She shares the house with our other dogs Yuri (a Siberian
Husky) and Ozzie (um, he's a BBD: Big, Brown Dog), a couple of kitties
(who are not very happy with the power swing) and a bunny (who thinks
the "wolves" are fine as long as rabbit isn't another name for
entree.) Faith protects us from the nasty back yard squirrel and those
evil socks hiding in the laundry basket readying for an ambush. Faith
keeps every dog food bowl in the house spotless. Faith snuggles teenaged
tears away. Every dog deserves to be this happy.
