Hi!
My name is Sere (pronounced Sarah). I've been living with my Mom and
Dad since I was a little over seven weeks old. I am very energetic and
playful but my Mom and Dad try to keep up with me the best they can. I
just graduated from puppy kindergarten on August 31st. I can sit, lie
down, and stand on command. But when I'm walking on a leash, it's hard
for me not to pull. I want to go everywhere at once. Maybe one of these
days, I will surprise my Mom and walk nicely. Nahhh! I don't think so!
Well, maybe. I'll decide later. I have a big sister that I love dearly.
She's a Shepherd mix who turned twelve years old in January, 2001. She's
very patient with me when I drive her crazy most of the time. My Mom
grooms dogs so I get to go to work with her every day. It's fun because
I get to play with some of the other dogs that belong to my Mom's
friend, who is a groomer, too. I get so worn out that I sleep for a
while but after an hour or so, I'm ready to play again and basically get
into trouble. I love to sleep on the bed after Dad gets up in the
morning. When it's chilly, I get under the covers with Mom and we warm
each other up. But, all in all, I just love sleeping on the bed anytime!
But, at night, I have to sleep in my kennel and that's OK, too, because
then I'm so glad to see my Mom and Dad the next morning. What a reunion!
There is one problem, though... my Mom and Dad take too long to fix my
meals! I have to bark at them to get them to hurry up! When will they
ever learn?! Well, I have to go take a nap now. It's been a long day!
