I
know Megabyte probably seems like an odd name for such an adorable
looking dog, but it was a "in-joke" for my hubby and me, we both work
with computers, and we had decided that we had to have at least one pet
with a computer related name. We call her Meg for short, but her name is
apt as she does everything in Mega amounts! She goes to puppy school
every Saturday, and she has learnt how to sit, (lie) down, stand, wait,
heel and stay. She loves going to school to play with the other puppies,
she sings with excitement when we're waiting for my husband to get the
car out of the garage.
We have another dog, a Maltese poodle named Snowy, but Meg's best friend
is my mom's Rottweiler puppy, who is the same age as her, named Jade.
Meg thinks that our cat is a toy made for her to harass. She is losing
her baby teeth at the moment, so is chewing up everything and anything
she can get her teeth into, including our sprinkler system, and the
planks she's pulled off the cover of our pump. I'm just glad that she
can't get into the garage, or bye-bye car!! I have never had a big dog
of my own, and it really surprised me that I would love her so much. She
is very cute and super-friendly, so I doubt she'll be much of a guard
dog, but I'm really happy that we got her.
