At
ten weeks she has not done very much. At first we had a couple of
sleepless nights with her howling all night, plus the messages she
left us to clear up in the morning, we did start to think, "What
have we let ourselves in for?" but when you see the joy and
pleasure that she has brought to the kids as well as us adults in the
"pack" we would not have her any other way.
Broxi got her name from a soccer team mascot,
Glasgow Rangers, which our family are supporters of. The reason for my
nomination is simple - today in this over commercialized world of
ours, some people forget the important things in life. It is all too
easy to give the family what it wants, i.e. Sky TV, Playstations,
Game-Boys etc., and all the other things we are told the family
requires to be "happy," but in all truth it is the ups and
downs of life that makes us what we are. In Broxi we certainly have
that, the ups more than outweigh the downs and for the joy and
laughter she gives us she wins hands down, well, we think so.
