Bob
is a three-year-old "All American Mixed Breed!" He
resides with his humans in Los Angeles, California. Bob is a special
dog because he got a second chance at life and because every day he
fills my own life with unconditional love. Bob was a stray who was
rescued by a kind person who saw him roaming the streets of Los
Angeles. He was malnourished, his fur was matted and the pads on his
feet were badly worn from walking on the hot pavement while searching
for food and a place to call home. He was cared for by the wonderful
staff at the SPCA in Los Angeles until his new home was found.
My husband and I were the first people to show up at the SPCA on that
faithful Saturday morning. When we saw Bob we fell in love with him on
the spot! He was a hyper little guy who had no training at all! He dug
holes in the yard, chewed everything in sight, barked uncontrollably,
wouldn't walk on a leash and jumped on everyone. We had all the
behavioral problems in the book! Within a few months, with the help of
a trainer and a lot of patience he was housebroken and knew basic
obedience commands. It's been two years and Bob is the best buddy I
have ever had. The unconditional love means more to me than all the
shoes and belts he's ever chewed up! He's a good boy now. He loves to
play frisbee, soccer and give doggy kisses. He can give a high five,
shake hands on a deal and chases his tale on command. He is very
entertaining and he won't hesitate showing you his sad face if he
thinks it will get him a pat on the head and make someone laugh! I am
so grateful that someone had the heart to pick him up and take him to
the SPCA where my husband and I were able to find him! Visit Bob at
