Yampa
(pronounced "Yompa") is seven in people years. She is
a mix of Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Siberian Husky. Yampa is my
absolute best friend and companion. We walk on the beach almost every
night during the winter when doggies are allowed there. She loves to
run around and romp with her dog friend "Gus". Yampa is the
best watch dog I have ever had and extremely protective of me. She
acts like my guardian. Yampa has traveled from place to place with me
and we've lived everywhere from east coast to west coast. We have a
very special bond and we are definitely a "pack of two".
Yampa often sits and lays with her legs crossed - just like a lady!
