We
got Zahn last summer from our local shelter. We initially were just
"going to look" at the dogs they had, but as soon as I saw
her, I knew she was the dog for me! We've become very close; we spend
lots of time taking walks and playing soccer, football and fetch.
She's a great help around the house; she even helps carry in
groceries, bring in the laundry, and clean up the house. She's
even learning how to "say" different words! She tries to
sound out "out" and even "Sarah", and the newest
thing she has learned is to say "hungry"! It may sound odd,
but if you heard it, you would be amazed!
She's an amazing companion and friend, as well as a help around the
house! Her face is the cutest too; she's the main subject for most of
my photography. We sometimes call her a peanut butter lab. Although
she's a dog on the outside, my family and I are quite sure that
there's a person in there trying to get out! My sweet puppy was
adopted from our local humane society just over a year ago; but I
can't remember life without her. She is such a joy to my family and I.
She is an amazing help around the house too! She helps my disabled mom
by picking things up, carrying groceries, picking up her toys and even
putting dishes in the sink! She's probably the smartest dog I have
ever met! She loves to meet people. She especially loves to visit with
my kids at the Lakeshore
Foundation when I volunteer there, where she gets loads of love
and affection. She's an amazing friend and an incredible joy!
