We
adopted Banjo from a woman who had rescued him from a shelter. He
was found wandering the streets. If this woman hadn't rescued Banjo,
he probably wouldn't have survived. We have another Chow Chow who is 4
years old. Her name is Amika. We felt that she needed a companion to
keep her company during the day while we were away at work. They get
along wonderfully. They love to go outside and play. Banjo loves the
snow. He burrows his snout deep in the snow and when he comes up he
looks so funny because he's covered with snow. He is a very loving dog
who follows us around like he is our shadow! Banjo loves attention. If
we stop petting him for a second, he will gently grab out sleeve with
his teeth and pull our hand back to pet him. He is a very finicky
eater. He loves his dog food, but he will only eat hot dogs and pig
ears for treats! He is a special part of our family and we love him
very much.
