Lucy
was found on the side of the road in October of 1999. She was
three months old and scared and alone. Once I picked her up of the
side of the road, she thanked me by throwing up in the passenger seat
of my car. Not the warmest welcome I ever had, but she did not mean to
do it, she said. Once I got her home, I had to keep her in the garage
away from the other dogs until I got her checked out the next morning.
The next morning on the way to the vet to get checked out, she was so
happy to be out of the garage, she thanked me by throwing up in my car
again.
Now that she is older, she has given up on throwing up in the car and
is now a good passenger. We go lot's of places like to Houston for
x-mas, where this picture was taken. We go to the park and to the
lake. Lucy loves to play fetch because she is part Golden Retriever.
She can also be protective because she is part chow. She is very good
with kids and gets along with most other dogs. She learned that at dog
school. Lucy would like to give out a big "Hello" to all her dog
friends who have access to the net. And she wants to give a special
"Hello" to her roomies JT the other dog, and Midnight the cat.
