Gunner
is our youngest of the two chocolate labs in our family. We
brought him into our family to keep our older female company during the
odd shifts we work during the week. When we first brought Gunner home,
Harlie (our female) was not to keen on the idea of him being around all
the time, playing with her toys, wanting to sleep on her bed (our couch)
or being any where near my husband and I. But over the months she
finally realized he was sticking around, and now we can't separate them.
Gunner is my shadow in the mornings when I try to get ready for work and
pretty much any other time I am at home. He is close to 105 pounds and 27"
tall, but still thinks he can sit on our laps. He greets me at the door
when I return home and is always ready to give a big kiss, especially
after taking a huge drink from the water bowl. He is passive and gentle
and loves to be cuddled. But we really need to do something about his
snoring! I hope you have enjoyed looking into these bright yellow eyes,
like I have everyday since he became a 'big' part of our family.
