Buddy
is always willing to give and not expect much in return. He
loves and cares for me, offers protection when I need it. On cold
nights he keeps me warm. When I am sad, he comforts me. For I have
given him nothing that could ever match what he gives me. But Buddy
does not only put a smile on my face, but for my whole family. One
night at around 2 am someone broke into our house, Buddy quickly ran
to our rescue and challenged the robber... he bared his teeth (which
is very rare, 'cause he loves people and pets of all ages) and
growled. But being so small, the robber only had to kick him in the
stomach and he went flying across the room. Even with having damaged
ribs, Buddy was not going to let the robber go. Once the robber turned
his back on him, Buddy painfully got up and bit the robber as hard as
he can in the back of his knee, which made him cry in great horror.
The sound quickly woke us up and we where able to chase him out of the
house before he was able to get anything or harm anyone. Buddy risked
his life... for our happiness. But we are happy to say he is all right
and our little hero. For he is and always will be very special to
this family!
