This
is Deefer, my baby... he was given to me by my partner fifteen
months ago to keep me company while he was away working and as you can
see we are now inseparable. Deefer was given his name by the children
who live next door to us, they were just one and a half years old when
our bundle of black joy arrived and because they were just learning
the alphabet they called him D-for Dog and the name just stuck.
Deefer and I love to take long walks and even longer swims, being a
Newfoundland he loves the water. He comes out on our boat every
weekend when we dive and he stands guard on the boat until we decide
to surface, however if we take to long he dives in himself and barks
until we come up...
To sum it all up when I got Deefer it was for company but as time went
on I realized I had received a gift of the most wonderful protector,
companion and soul mate I could ever find even if I searched the
world.
