This
is Klondike the Siberian Husky. He is such an adorable, sweet
puppy. Everybody that sees him falls in love with him. How could you not
when you see him jump in any available pool of water thats big enough,
when he hardly takes a dip in his personal kiddie pool? Or when the most
exciting part of the walk is the "going home" part so he can
get his doggie treat and some cool water? Or watching him play his
favorite game of stealing whatever the other dog has at the doggie park
and then not even playing with the ball or sick or whatever? Well
anyway, he loves to watch any dog on the T.V. He just becomes hypnotized
and goes right up to the screen. Once he heard a cartoon dog bark and he
became interested in the T.V. He also loves other dogs and people and
his favorite place to sleep is halfway inside-halfway outside. He is
really easy to train (so far) and knows "sit,"
"lie-down," "come," and "stay" (thanks to
his dog treats). Best of all, one of the first things he learned was to
go to the bathroom outside. He already weighs 30 pounds at 4 1/2 months
and he still has another 30 to grow before he's fully grown! And he's so
brave. He's not even scared of the vacuum cleaner. He thought it was
something to play with, and was sad when I put it back in the closet.
But he's a sweet little dog and I don't like to be away from him for too
long. Even though he whines to be let in and then just goes right to
sleep, or tries to bite his brush when I'm grooming him, and rushes in
my room to eat Maggie the cat's food, he's such a special pup with lots
of character!
