This
is Thurman. He will be two in April 2001. We adopted Thurman when
he was eleven months old, and he had separation anxiety. He hated being
alone so much he would cry when I took a shower. Now Thurman is almost
completely over his anxiety problems, and we're very proud of what a
good boy he is! I wish we had him from when he was a little tiny puppy
(he weighed 60 pounds when we got him), but over the past year we've
seen him thicken up, his neck broaden, etc.
Thurman is a very busy dog. During the week he spends his days at his
Dad's piano repair shop, where he excels in his position of shop dog.

Thurman has busy weekends, too. In the warmer months, he comes out on
our fishing boat with us. His favorite part is when we let him jump into
the lake and swim. (He gets pretty excited on the rare event that we
actually reel in a fish, too!). He goes to a local dog park where he
gets to play with his friends almost every weekend. One of Thurman's
favorite games is tennis (well, chewing and retrieving tennis balls
anyway). Thurman's favorite things are his bed, the dog park, and
treats. He is a sweet, lovable dog with personality.
