My
wife and I have had Sammy from the time he was five weeks old. At
the time we had three cats called Mother, Baby Two and Tommy (still
have may I add). Sammy could get through the cat flap for the first
couple of weeks that's how small he was, now he stands 34 inches tall.
He is basically my wife's dog because she as been with him most of the
time since he came to live with us, she taught him the house rules and
he as been absolutely fantastic. He has never chewed anything, apart
from his own toys. Sammy never steals food except biscuits from the
grandchildren - he follows them everywhere when they have treats. We
had never kept a dog before he came into our lives (however did we
manage?). We have four grown up children and ten grandchildren and he
loves us all as we love him.
He is a brilliant guard dog he lets us know if anyone is around and
he's brave and will always be first there at the sharp end. Sammy is a
very lovable dog and always comes for a cuddle, and he loves to play
hide and seek around the house. Sammy is totally reliable and a joy to
live with, if you hadn't gathered that already. An experience in life
not to be missed - ask any dog owner. In our eyes he's the Dog of the
Day every day.
