Bud
is our beloved three-year-old Golden Retriever. First, he is
beautiful: nice face and very nice golden coat. I put this in first -
which is stupid because it does not matter. We did not want a pretty dog
but a loving one; and Bud is gentle and loving (which is a pleonasm:
Golden Retrievers = gentle and loving dogs!). He is not perfectly
obedient yet - (Nobody is perfect! He tries his best). He kindly makes
up for it in retrieving our daily newspaper. He loves to run like crazy
each week-end in the forest - to swim, jump in puddles, play ball... in
fact simply play and of course retrieve everything retrievable. He also
loves to walk me (what a strength!). But what he enjoys the most is being
with us, refusing a single minute of separation. Dear Bud! how could we
have stay so long without you!
