Lindy
became part of our family on September 6th, 2000. We
decided to go to the animal shelter to see if we could find
any animals we liked. The volunteer told us if we wanted a
sweetheart, come see Lindy. She was in the quarantine room,
since there was not enough room in the main room. The
volunteer told us she had been there for almost three weeks. Her
time was running out. After we took her home, a little limp
that the volunteer said was a sprained muscle became worse.
We contacted her vet. They said that she had been hit by a
car. He told us to give her an aspirin a day. When we gave
her an aspirin, and a lot of TLC, she became a whole new
dog! A real sweetheart! Now she hardly limps, unless she had
an active day with her best friend Buddy, a one-year-old
Boston Terrier. She loves to go for walks. She also loves to
chase the birds, even though their 50-feet above her. Her
favorite toy is her rope, which is about worn out. She is
the greatest dog a person could ask for.
