Sparkle
is adored by hundreds of children across the north west of
England. You see Sparkle is a very special dog, not just to us but to
all these children. She also has a place in the hearts of the sick and
the elderly. Sparkle is a trained show business dog, she is trained to
perform tricks, in which she can do fourteen. So, apart from going into
Hospitals and performing on the children's wards to cheer the sick
children up and make them laugh, she also does the same in nursing
homes. When she is not doing that, she is entertaining children at
Birthday parties were she is accompanied by her 16-month-old daughter
Wispa who has now also started to perform tricks, and JoJo the clown.
Sparkle has made a number of appearances on Television, including The
Big Breakfast, Blue Peter, GMTV, and The Disney channel, were she has
been asked to show off her talents. Sparkle has also traveled nation
wide on a eight-month tour in theatre, in the stage version of Enid
Blytons The Famous Five, Musical, and also in Annie. We are often
asked to take Sparkle along, to make a guest appearance at Charity
shows. So you can now see why she is our special pet, loved by us and
loved by hundreds, and why we named her Sparkle? Because she sparkles
in everybody's eyes.
