My
name is Peach, I am a one year old female Shepherd, Beagle mix. Not
much is known about my first home, except that there was no longer
room for me. My new owner found my picture on the Internet at
Petfinder.com and she drove to
the shelter and found me. I was frightened and alone, it took two
weeks to accept that my new owner was not going to leave me.
My new Mom tells me that I am special, that I am one Peach of a dog,
and she is so thankful to have me. I love my new found family, there
are multiple cocker spaniels here, much older than myself, I help take
care of them. I am teaching them what being young is all about, they
are more awake and alert since I came to live with them. There will
always be room for me here, and I am so thankful that people open
their heart and home to pets like me, thanks to the internet I have
found a piece of Heaven on Earth! I hope you will consider looking for
your next pet at a shelter and give a good home to an animal like
me, who finds themselves alone and abandoned.
