Maggie
is a sweet little angel whom we adopted in 1996. We were told
she was in a pound awaiting euthanasia when she broke out and ran to a
farm. She eventually found her way to an animal rescue operation named
Four Paws when she was a year old, where we were lucky enough to find
her.
Now we've had her for almost five years, and we can't imagine life
without her. She loves attention, loves to bark at the mailman, and
likes to play with her little sissy, Hannah (a husky mix). All of our
friends consider her the greatest dog on the planet, and we certainly
agree with them. Maggie's bag of tricks consists of sit, stay, lay
down, spin, roll over, and she can stand on her hind legs forever, as
long as we entice her with a spoonfull of whipped cream!
She also has big brown eyes that look so deep into you that you're
sure she understands every word you say. She follows us everywhere we
go, even if we have a housefull of people, and just goes nuts when we
get home from work every day.
Maggie easily has 300 nicknames, but some of the main ones are Bub,
Buh, Bird, BD (Bird Dog), Gee Bird, and The Geeps. We're thankful
every single day that we have a sweet little pooch as wonderful as our
Maggie!
