Hi,
my name is Crystal. I live in Linwood, NJ, which is real close to
the Beach and river. I have lots of other friends, both boyfriends and
girlfriends. Most of my friends live on my street and we visit each
other all the time. My favorite friend on my street is Dakota who is a
golden retriever. We play almost daily. Sometimes he comes to my house
and waits on my step, and other times I go to his house to swim in his
pool. Other things that I enjoy to do is to visit my other neighbors.
I always pretend to them like I am really hungry, and they always give
me dog biscuits. Usually in the morning, my mommy will feed me, then
let me out for my daily inspection of the yard, to make sure there
were no intruders during the night. After my inspection, I go to
Percy's fence and wait for him to come out of his workshop. I know
right where he keeps his cookie jar. I won't stop talking to him,
until he gives me a cookies. Once I have swallowed that in one bite, I
will go and wait for my other neighbor, Sue to check on her pool. I
always let her know, that I did not see anyone else in her yard,
however, once in a while Sheeba comes to visit, but she is ok, because
we play. Once we talk for a little while, Sue gives me a biscuit and
off to work she goes. Then there is Dave out back. Dave stores his
motorcycle in the shed there, right by our fence. He always comes out
and talks to me, and we usually have a pretty good conversation. I let
him know, how hungry I am, that no one ever gives me goodies (ha, ha,
little does he know), and low and behold he feels sorry for me and
gives me a biscuit. Then there is Mr. Richie across the street. He is
usually home all day, and when the weather is nice, my Mommy & Daddy
let me stay out all day and guard my kingdom of the back yard. Mr.
Richie usually comes over around lunch time to pet me and feed me
lunch of one or two biscuits that I know he keeps in his pocket. Then
I usually sleep the rest of the afternoon, since my tummy is so full.
There are other days, that my Mommy and Daddy keep me real busy.
Sometimes we go to Grandma and Grandpa's house on the River, and all
my cousins come over, there is Apollo- black lab, Kaya - black lab,
Keltie - chocolate lab, Roscoe Lab/Rot, and Kaylee - mix we all play
in the river and swim all day long. Sometimes, Mommy or Daddy will
take me in the Kayaks, canoe or on the tubes. I especially love the
tube, we just float around in the water. We also go to the beach a lot
to Dog Beach, I usually meet all kinds of dogs there, we usually have
fun running in and out of the water, and make sure you shake all the
water off while mommy is trying to relax and get a tan. Well, off to
meet some more friends. Dakota is waiting at the front door, we are
going to run around for a while and roll in the grass.
