This
is Amber. My fiancée and I found Amber at a no-kill shelter in
Greenland, Arkansas. I wanted a dog so bad but I just couldn't decide.
When I saw Amber it was love at first sight. She was a six months old
when we decided to adopt her and in not-so-good health. The shelter
had just received her the same day we picked her out. She was
malnourished and had some staff infections, but now she is a year and
a half and she weighs almost 50 pounds and has grown into a very
strong and healthy girl! Boy, how time flies! You can make your own
decision about what breed she is. We certainly don't know. We have
been told that she looks like everything from a Pit Bull to a Jack
Russell Terrier. What I do know about her is she is the happiest, most
protective dog that I have ever owned. A day never goes by that I am
so thankful we brought her into our lives, and I am sure there is
little thankfulness on her part too!
