This
is Astro, our American Pit Bull Terrier. He is such a good boy!
He loves kids and all dogs and cats too. (Not for lunch, either - he
really likes them.) His favorite things include running in the desert
where we live, or swimming in the ocean when we go there. He is a real
sucker for goldfish crackers, and anything with BBQ sauce! He turned five
years old on Jan. 22 and for his yearly ritual he got a Big Mac for
his birthday. What a treat that was! He just loves our one year old son,
they are best buddies - especially now that our son can sneak him
scraps, he really loves him. Astro and Kyle play all day together in
the back yard finding bugs or just playing catch with anything Kyle
can throw. My husband and I are very proud of "both" of our sons!
Astro or "Gange" as also we call him, got his nickname from
the J.R. Tolkein books. One of the hobbits' names was Sam Gangie, but
it has evolved to Gange. Astro is a American Pit Bull Terrier that
thinks he is a teacup poodle! He is just such a good boy we call him
the "Ambassador" for the pit bull breed. He has not a mean
bone in his body. We are very lucky to have our little block head.
