Kelsie
was "rescued" from an abusive and neglectful situation when she
was only one year old. She had been in five different homes by the time
she was one year old. She was not in very good condition when she was
rescued, although you would not know it by meeting her. Even though
she had scars on her neck where the puppy collar had grown into
her skin and was only 35 pounds, she was the most happy-go-lucky dog I
had ever met. We instantly bonded and I knew that she would be a
member of my family for the rest of her life.
Almost three years later, Kelsie is now 70+ pounds and is beautiful,
inside and out. She loves everyone she meets and has to give everyone
a kiss when she meets them. She has gotten over all of her fears that
she had from being abused by her previous owners. She sleeps in my
bed every night and now has the life that she deserves.
