My
name is Kovu. I am an only child of a wonderful set of human
parents. I love them a lot, and I know they adore me! I am two and 1/2
years old and have lived with Mom and Dad my entire life. I am a Silky
Terrier, and in true Terrier form I have a ton of energy and run the
house!
I spend my days lounging on our bed - I snuggle up to my Mom's pillow,
'cuz it still smells like her after she goes to work. By the late
afternoon, I move to the couch and watch out the window and wait for Mom
and Dad to get home. As soon as they are home, I greet them with
kisses, hugs and yelps of joy! My favorite part of the day is going
outside. I grab one of my many outdoor toys and run around with it. I
play catch sometimes, but I like to keep the ball for myself!
I get to play fetch and tug-of-war with Dad while Mom makes dinner or
cleans the house. I really like wrestling and horsing around with my
Dad - it is fun! I get really excited when I get to see Nana and Papa.
Nana always lets me lick her fingers when she is cooking yummy smelling
food, and Papa plays ball with me!
At the end of a long day, I get to settle in and watch some TV with my
Mom and Dad. I usually pick a spot at on top of Mom's legs and prop my
head up on her. I love to watch shows with dogs - sometimes I bark at
the TV screen! I have a great life and love my Mom and Dad a lot. They
give me kisses, take me for walks, play with me and hug me all the time!
