Thunder
came into our lives at the age of four months and life hasn't
been the same since! He loves his footballs - he's the best receiver
in town! During the summer, his favorite activity is dock jumping into
the river, chasing a football (or course)! He loves the water and
sneaks in a dip at any given chance! He is a great watch dog and is
excellent at protecting his property, but because of his timid nature,
he wouldn't hurt a flea; his intimidating appearance and ferocious
bark are enough to scare anyone away. After graduating from the
kitchen floor to the bedroom floor at night, it only took him a few
weeks and a couple of sad faces to convince my husband that he
deserved a place on our bed at night! He cuddles in just like a
person, with his arms wrapped around us and his head on the pillows!
This is the first shepherd breed I've ever had and I'm hooked - I'll
never have another breed! We couldn't ask for a better dog or a more
loyal friend. He is definitely our buddy and we can't imagine life
without him!
