Baxter
is three years old and is a Chihuahua - Corgi mix (we think).
The picture was taken after he came back from the barber shop. He is
now living in beautiful San Diego, California. He moved here about a
year ago after being a street dog in Miami Beach, Florida. Fortunately
for us, Baxter decided to follow a cute little rat terrier, called
Cleo, home. Baxter was then offered a free plane ticket and the
opportunity to become a pampered pet and he quickly decided to leave
his rugged life style behind.
Since he doesn't have to work anymore, Baxter spends his days lounging
around. Although he takes frequent trips to the back yard to hunt
unsuccessfully for insects and rodents. He enjoys dog beach and the
dog park, where he provokes large dogs to chase him at breakneck
speeds. Baxter is a fierce tug-of-war competitor, he'll dangle in the
air suspended by his teeth for extended periods of time. He has a
meaningful intimate relationship with a stuffed Odie. No one would
suspect his uncultured background because Baxter has impeccable table
manners, he chews his food one kernel at a time. The day is always
finished with a good chew while watching TV.
