Rudy
was born on September 13, 2001. He is the son of Sadie, whom I
also own. He was from a litter of six, a difficult birth, and he was the
sole survivor, and runt, thus the name he was given, "Rudy, the runt."
He was so tiny, I made him his own little doggy bed. I took a picture
of him beside the tube of lipstick to show his size. As he grew older,
and bigger, he still loved his bed. I kept his bed out with his toys,
and he loves his toys! Even though he outgrew his bed, every now and
then you could find him curled up in it, he would look up to us as
'What?' As if it he still fit in it.
Rudy has become such a character! He loves to play with all of his toys,
and will drag them all out to play with, leaving them all over.
He has the company of his mother 'Sadie' and his grandmother 'Chelsea'
and sleeps between them now. He loves to lead his mother by her leash,
or even her collar! He rules the house now! It gets pretty warm here, so
Rudy has his own small swimming pool which I keep fresh water in for him
to cool off. In the afternoons, you will find Rudy in the pool, drinking
the water, and then laying in it relaxing! Rudy is not allowed on the
furniture, but in the evenings you can find Rudy watching tv from upon
my lap.
