Jackson
is a six-ish year old male pug, who lives with his human
and feline family in Santa Cruz, California. We adopted him when
he was about 3-1/2. He graduated from Doggy Kindergarten last
summer, and is good at "sit" and "down", especially when there is
food involved. Although he's a "small" dog, we refer to him as
"small but mighty." Jackson thinks he's a labrador, and one of
his favorite things to do is follow his labrador cousins into the
ocean chasing balls, and to body surf his way back to shore. When
we visit his labrador cousins in Tahoe, Jackson keeps up with
them even through twelve feet of snow! He loves to eat all kinds
of things, including grapes, apples, cantaloupe, and the
occasional bit of seaweed. He loves to stretch out in patches of
sun in the house and snores when he sleeps. He loves his Booda
hedgehogs, and has about 25 of them. Every where he goes, people
stop to pet him and compliment him on his sheer "pugness."
