At
the time we got Chica, we weren't really looking for a pet.
However, she obviously had other plans. Early one morning my teenage
daughter was leaving our apartment to go to school. When she opened
the door, in walked this tiny Chihuahua. She waltzed right in and made
herself at home as if announcing, "Here I am, feed me, pet me, love
me, I'm yours." She had been abandoned and it looks like she chose us
to be her new owners. Although, actually, I'm not really sure if we
own her or if she owns us! At any rate, Chica's a lovable, adorable
little dog and has settled in quite nicely into her new place.
