This
is Blanche. She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. "Cavaliers"
were a lap dog of British Royalty and you see them in a lot of old
paintings. Blanche is also a lap dog but more important she is a "desk
dog". Blanche is my bosses' dog, and she puts in a seven-hour day at a
residential Real Estate Company in Philadelphia, where she has "worked"
since she was a five month old pup. Her typical day includes greeting
people by laying on my desk, sleeping, (on my desk), begging for food
(wandering around when each of our 25 salespeople eat their lunch) and
taking walks in Rittenhouse Square. She is a sweet and caring dog and
loves all the attention she gets during her days at the office. We all
love her and one time she was even voted "Employee of the Month."
