This
is Snowden. She is a nine-month-old Border Collie. She is special
for many reasons. The pups were orphans at two days old and I raised
them. Snowden is also deaf. She graduated top of her class in
obedience by hand signals.
Snowden is very loving. She does not play much with me, but she plays
tag with her sisters. She doesn't know any tricks yet. She is a bit
hard to train because she is deaf. For hand signals, she knows sit,
down, stay, heel, come and stand. She knows when I point my finger,
that she had better stop what she is doing. It is "No" to her. I have
a special hand signal for her name, so she can tell when I mean her,
not her sisters. She is a very special pup.
